Saw it on a talk show and thought it was sweet. Want to find out how its done but I don't want to pay to find out. Can anyone explain it or point me to where the trick is revealed?

1. Cut lemon in half

2. Place dollar bill inside lemon

3. Glue lemon together.

4. ???

5. Profit!

No, they have a fake plastic "thumb-tip" that lets them put the dollar in the tip of the finger, push the finger tip into the lemon, and pull out the dollar...

I've got one arround here somewhere, thumb-tips are really fun, you can do some incredible tricks with them, and they are great for up-close magic. It works best @ parties, when everybody has had a few drinks :)

There are many methods, some of which involve gaffs. My preferred method is 100% sleight of hand.

EDIT: I think Bill Malone teaches one of the best methods.

The one I saw was with the talkshow Ellen. Ellen actually went and picked out the lemon herself and cut it open herself too. The magician never touched it.

Anyone have any illustrated guides on how to do the trick? I dont want to buy a DVD :p

Trust me, you will not find any halfway decent method of doing any magic trick in a local bookstore.

Does any one know how they do the tissue paper to rose trick. Take a tissue paper shape it into a rose, light it up and poof you have a rose. I saw david copperfield do this before.
