how is the compusa employee discount?

I was thinking about getting a part time job somewhere and I have a compusa very close, is their employee discount program any good? I'd like to get good deals on all the stuff I buy...

Not sure about the emp. discount, but, The corporate discount was actually a markup... you could get the product for x% over their cost. (I think it was 10% for my company) Some items that was actually more than their retail price. Most always it was more than their sale price. For items that were brand new it was an OK way to get them at a reduced price before the first 'sale'.

if you have a BestBuy near you, there discount is 10% over cost on anything in the store after 30 days of your start date. i used to work there, really miss the discount it was vey nice. There is a HUGE mark up on all accessories. Example, things that were going for $6(phone cords, stereo wire), I got with my discount for .50 to $1

When I worked there (years ago) it was 5% above cost. I wonder if they changed it.
