how is the boardwalk/casinos in Atlantic City

Im goin to AC either tonight or tomorrow afternoon. Last time I went was about 3-4 years ago. I used to always go to RESORTS but might check out Borgata also. I used to go frequently and I used to get free room reservations in the mail but I havnt been in so long they stopped sending them.

Has anyone been on the boardwalk recently..how is it, anything new, where are the hookers at (lol)
Hopefully I will get comped free food,show,or even a room.
 
boardwalk is A LOT better than 3 -4 years ago! might be a little chilly still!
Borgata is gonna be damn expensive on the weekends (i think the minimum bet is like 15-20 bucks)

yep. thursday night on (friday is considered part of the weekend in casino world) all the rooms are more $$, higher min bets, etc etc. mon - thurs are cheap. but then again mon-thurs are no fun cuz fri and sat are when most of the people go there ...so more fun on weekends
 
Just as ghetto as it's always been....The Borgata is on the marina side, btw. Can't get there from the boardwalk.
 
The Borgata is pretty but once you go there you are stuck there, you aren't going to get to the Boardwalk from there unless you drive over.

I love AC and always have (damn you, mom, for getting me hooked!!). Caesars and the Bally's Wild West are my favorites.
 
Their exotic nightlife sucks...strippers can't show anything there for some reason...yet they still have 'make-believe' strip clubs where the girl does a pole dance and I guess you're supposed to imagine her getting naked?
 
hookers hang around the Tropicana, get there around midnight... (at least they did a few months ago)



and the boardwalk still sucks.. always have... nothing to see at all....

I'm thinking about going to Atlantic City, what's with all this hype about Texas hold'ems? Seems like that game just appear out of nowhere.
 
I'm going to D.C. in September and we're planning on taking a day trip to AC. Hell, I've never been anywhere other than the nearby Harrah's in Cherokee, NC... and it's all machine only!
 
About 10 years ago I stayed at the Taj Mahal, great place. The only elevators I've been in that actually states "X" as the floor #s being passed by.... freakin fast :frown:
 
Borgata had free wi-fi (as of March). Used to go from Philli every week-end when I was working out there.

I could park myself in the "livingroom" and visit AT when I needed a break.
 
too damn far from the rest of the other casinos

it's like going to foxwoods, i can either lose my money here or go out to the woods and
