How is the Apple 30" cinema for gaming?

No I don't have nearly enough money to buy it, but I can't find any reviews on google so I am wondering what you guys think of it. (game wise)

Not apples to apples but
Buddy of mine has the Dell wide version and has a love hate relationship with it.

99% of games dont utilize the widescreen.

You would just need a damn good card to run at its native resolution. I'm not sure if they fixed the SLI issues with it either.

There is no Dell version of the Apple 30" Cinema HD Display. There are tons and tons of games which can easily display a 16:10 resolution, if not through the menu, then in a config file or console commands.

The 2560x1600 resolution requires a video card with Dual-Link DVI. There is only one true gaming card which features a Dual-Link DVI (everything out there has one or two Single-Link DVI), and that's the eVGA GeForce 7800 GTX. I'm not sure about other brands, but eVGA is the only one which has advertised this feature. Some people have however, gotten it to work with a GeForce 6800 GTO, which is only found in some Dell systems.

I would kill to have two GeForce 7800 GTX plus this display... running Half-Life 2 and Battlefield 2 at 2560x1600. Just wow...

The Cinema displays I've seen/used running UT2K4 look absolutely disgusting. Ghosting, washed out colors, you name it. I can only the imagine that the 30" is even worse.
