I have tried it with the default fan and with the YSTech fan and it is MUCH quieter with the default fan (which is actually pretty efficient for its size).

It depends with what you're comparing with. The YStech 26 cfm fan is much quiter than the Delta 38 cfm or the Papst 33 cfm. The noise ratings and other info are as follows :
Delta 38 cfm 46.5 dBA 60 x 25 3.8 W
Papst 33 cfm 43.0 dBA " 3.7 W
Adda 28 cfm 37.0 dBA " 3.0 W
CGK742092 standard fan 21 cfm 36.5 dBA 60 x 15 2.16 W
YStech 26 cfm 34.5 dBA 60 x 25 2.16 W
Sunon 24 cfm 34.0 dBA " 2.5 W

Well I trust my ears much more than those figures.

When I swapped the default fan for the YS Tech it was MUCH louder.

I got this combo from nerdsbyte and cant complain at all- temps or noise. The temps below are w/ ambient temp @ 24C after playing UT for an hour or so.

I was curious if my Iwill KK266 was giving incorrect temp reads. With that same Taisol and a globalwin fan (4400 RPM) I get idle at 27C and load at 40C (TBird 800 at 987). This is awesome since my other duron system (600 at 918) gets 38C and 46C on the A7V using the FOP38. What I do not understand is how the FOP38 got those ratings when the Taisol is much better and quieter. I guess to each his own - to heck with reviews.

Regalk,

yes. The iwill is almost the same as the MSI board asd far as giving temps... it reads low, and by a lot. the A7V, on hte other hand, tends to read much higher(and probably close to core temp).

i have a cgk with the stock fan, and i have an extra sunon. i put the sunon on, and it is a little bit louder than the stock fan. in terms of flow....they're both about the same.
