How is Sprint?

How is Sprint? I am thinking about moving to them and people who use their service around here seem to enjoy them.

Do they gimp their phones as much as Verizon does or do they actually let you use all of the features? How about hooking them up to your computer via bluetooth to transfer ringtones and pictures?

What's everyone say?

Dependent on the phone model.

My wifes 920 is not USB capable, my A900 is. Additionally, my A900 has FTP whereas hers does not. She does have a memstick though shile mine is fixed 32 meg.

Thats simply 1 example, but your quetions really depend on the model of phone you want.

Oh, well say I got a phone that did support USB transfer and all that jazz. Do they leave their phones unlocked for such things or do they make you pay them extra just to enable features already on your phone? Like if the phone supports voice dialing, do they leave that feature unlocked and let you do the voice dialing built into the phone or do they make you connect to that pcs voice command thing I see listed on their website for an extra charge just to use it?

well, i have some voicestream software on my A900 and there is no extra charge for it, but that might be phone specific. As far as coverage and price goes I have no complaints with sprint, especially $15.00 for unlimited data.

I didnt mess with her phone much. Guess I'll give it a second go. Might keep her from downloading the damned songs.

How did you do it? Samsung was rumored to be releasing software to enable the USB transfer but as of last week, the people at the Sprint Store hadn't seen it.
