How is Sizzler still in business?

I went shooting at the range with my friends yesterday, and on the way back we decided to stop at Sizzler. How can people stand eating there? 8 bucks for the "salad bar?" $10-12 for an entree that rivals airplane food? And since when did they change to a fast-food-style "menu on the wall" from a normal restaurant? I think I'd rather eat my toejam than go there again. Blech.

<< In Inglewood. Fact that we were the only three white people in the establishment notwithstanding >>

What that does have to do with anything?

I'm also amazed that they're still in business because of the whole eColi incidences. Then again take a look at Jack in the Box (yum).

You're right, RossMAN. Irrelevant statement. Shall be duly stricken from the post. 🙂

Sizzler is still around? Rock! Do they still have the all you can eat fried shrimp deal? I gotta find one, I haven't seen their restaurant in almost 4 years now.

<< i don't believe it. >>

You think I made this up to get attention? You must have me confused with certain other members of this board. 😛

Haven't they always had the menu on the wall thing? They had it at least 20 years ago.

Anyway, it's nasty stuff they serve.

Every Sizzler I've been to in the last 20 years had the "menu on the wall".

Most of them down here in South Florida closed. I did however see one in Orlando about a year ago...

Never been in a sizzler but when I was younger they had ponderosa around her. I remember them having a lot of problems keeping in compliance with food laws.

Went there once in the early '70s and have never gone back agiain. To say that they are the MacDonalds of steak and seafood would be to insult McD's. And they are grossly overpriced for the qualilty (non quality?) of filth they serve.
