My wife and I went to dinner tonight with a couple of guys from India who were here on a business trip. One of them had never been to the US previously. Both were vegan and had never eaten meat in their entire life. They seemed plenty healthy to me.
We prefer meat (I had lamb vindaloo and the wife had goat biryani) but if a decent percentage of one of the larger nations on earth can do without it I fail to see how it can be considered child abuse.
So, my question is, how is depriving a child of proper nutrition not child abuse?
Shit! That's the question I meant to ask them tonight and totally forgot about it.Don't they worship cows or something ...![]()

I would read most of that but specifically:
"
The cow in Hindu society is traditionally identified as a caretaker and a maternal figure,[163] and Hindu society honours the cow as a symbol of unselfish giving.[164] Cow-slaughter is legally banned in almost all states of India."

A vegetarian can get a perfectly balanced diet but it still doesn't change the fact that it is a stupid and pointless lifestyle choice.
Sweet Jesus, you are bringing your trolling to OT now?
Eating vegetarian or even vegan, it is 100% possible to have proper and coimplete nutrition.
If you didn't know that, you're just one ignorant pos. But given your track record of material dishonesty in posting in P&N, I'm guessing you do know that and are just trolling.
Retarded. Meat is one of the least efficient ways to get protein.
