How is newegg.com for ordering hardware parts?

ordered almost my entire computer from Newegg.....get your stuff in like 3-4 days plus good prices and they ship FedEx. I know I'm not a big UPS fan.

6.4/7 with over 350 reviewers? You will have a hard time beating that score with that many people reviewing. I made 2 different purchases through them recently and both arrived in 3 business days in perfect shape. I can't say anything about their return policy, because I haven't needed it!

their return policy works well, they let me return a palomino chip with no loss on my part (other than shipping) when i ordered a thunderbird as a replacement. the one i sent back had thermal paste still on it and the little foamy corners ripped off but they still refunded me. i was impressed.

edit: i should mention that i was not returning on any fault of theirs, it was just incompatible with my mb

Yeah, I ordered a video card and hard drive from them 2 weeks ago and it arrived a day late (not their fault, FedEx had the thing on their truck all f'ing day but decided not to deliver it till it was a day late), other than that, it was shipped out fast, packing was great, prices were outstanding. What's not to like?

yea fedex sucks like that. i like ups better, the only thing that fedex does better is saturday delivery.

UPS in my area always delivers in the evening (after 8 PM), and is slower than fedex for every purchase I've had...toboot UPS will drop items on my doorstep without ringing the bell, without asignature, and will actually physically &quot;drop&quot; boxes in front of me on the porch...i'm sure they know whatever they are carrying is 50-80 lbs and will probably get damaged by that handling. I don't know how it is there, but here UPS is all highschoolers - they advertise on TV and the paper asking for highschoolers to work for them 4-5 hours a day. Most highschoolers I know don't take a job cuz of any reason but earning money..so they really wouldn't care if a package gets damaged (seeing they won't holdtheir job long anyways once college comes, they could care less if they get fired from a damaged package or two).

They're GREAT! Fedex also has very good tracking.

I would buy from them again, I wish I bought everything from them and payed the extra in CA tax. I'm still waiting on parts from other places. =(
