How is my Overclock on the E6400?

Hi, it´s my first post around here!

This last weekend I spent my time doing an Overclock on my C2D, and I´ll let you guys say how good or bad it is..

400 X 8 = 3200GHz
Vcore = 1.30
Memory = 667 @ 800MHz vDIMM 2.15, like the tutorial said, 5-5-5-15, now trying to lower these timmings
vMCH- Was 1.55 as the tutorial said but I reaches 1.25 with apparently no problem with stabiliy, is it normal?
vFSB - Was 1.40 but I lowered to 1.30 with no problems after some minutes of stressing

My temperatures
Using Tat I get 68°C on both Core 0 and 1, running ORTHOS it seldom reaches 63°, stays around 60-62°C

Do you guys think it´s stable enough? How about my memory, is it worth trying to lower the VDIMM? What about the timmings?

Thx for reading!

not bad at all. what are your idle temps? and what cooler do you have?
and the stability, how long does it run Orthos without errors? is it stable enough for what you do? that's the main question.
you're memory and vDimm are fine. you might want to download memtest and run that to test for memory errors.
You know what week and batch you got? (On the box L6XXAXXX (The A can be B or L and the first 2 Xs are the week number)

Here's Mine for comparison:

444*8=3.55 GHz
vCore = 1.52v
Mem = 800@ 888 4-4-4-10 (vDIMM 2.2v)
vMCP =1.525v
vFSB=1.5v

Temps (CPU/Core0/Core1):
Idle: 35/39/37
Orthos (6 hours stable) 56/58/57
TAT: 52/61/60 (Topping out at 64)

Sorry for all the questions. Nice job.
PS: Look at my sig for more details and check out the my Max OC on air.

Don´t be sorry man! You´re doing a great help to me!

My CPU Case temp is probably wrong, I think it´s 15°c more than the actual temp. Idle I get CPU 50°C , Core 0 and 1 45°C

Orthos 3 hours with no errors, I had error after 1 hours when using vCore 1.28, but after 1.30 3 hours no error, I haven´t tried any longer, I probably will try tonight.

About the Week I think I´m gonna have to pass on this one.. I dont have it here right now

I´m a bit worried about the temp with TAT 100%, I think I´ll probably try to downclock to 3.1GHz or something like that.

Thx for the help!!

No prob. but what HSF cooler do you have? if you've got some spare cash around, you might want to splurge and get a Tuniq Tower or a Thermalright Ultra 120 if they fit in your case.
and don't forget some MX-1 or AS5.

What cooler are you running? Your temps are safe but they seem a bit high especially with only 1.3 voltage.

Thermaltake Big Typhoon, along with some artic silver 5

Remember I live in Brazil, the ambient temp here is around 28°C during the day!

It´s set in the Bios, CPU-Z Speedfan and others tell me a different vcore, lower than the Bios one actually

I´m surprised, I lowered my memory timmings to 4.4.4.12, and after 5 hours of Orthos, and Memtest86+, no errors! I never thought this 667 Value Kingston would do such a good job =p

Thats a really good chip, my E6400 takes 1.45 set in bios 1.35 in cpu-z to pass orthos at 3.2ghz:(

But what about vFSB? And all that other voltages? I did it by the Toms Hardware tutorial, if you haven´t tried it, give it a shot, it´s really good!
