I was installing a waterblock onto my axia and it wasn't setting right so I would take it off and put it back on and over and over. Well when I finally got it right my cpu was no longer working anymore! I changed all the multipliers, put on my hsf and also unplugged my comp left it for a while and then plugged it back in, but all to no avail. I checked the cpu there are no burn marks, cracks, or chips. I can not figure this out I just want to know what might have gone wrong with my cpu? BTW it was working fine before when I was using my heatsink and the mobo is fine I am using a 950 on it currently. Thanks in advance.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say that one of the times it was not setting quite right, it might have lost contact, enough to get hot. It only takes a few seconds. :(
