How is Mushkin Memory?

im not to sure on the RAM compared to Corsair Value RAM .. but Mushkin are a good make.. so dont worry .. if you dont intend to OC .. it will be fine

buy from the appropriate group of mushkin memory and you won't be disappointed. What adds security to buying from mushkin, is their service and support; amoung the very best there is.

edit: and yes they work in dual channel. some of the mushkin groups are pre-tested, to match modules as close as possible, so that performance is maximized.

last time i bought mushkin value, they used blitz memory chips. also, running cpu-z displayed a cas latency of 3 instead of 2.5. i would spend an extra dollar or two on corsair value.

Mushkin brand overall is excellent, just depends on what you're looking for, since this is their 'value' ram and not their highend stuff. If this doesn't run @cas2.5, send it back. It is comparable to corsair value ram, both about the same.

I have that pack and it becomes very unstable in dual channel. It repeatedly passed memtest just fine, but windows started acting weird after a few minutes. I tried everything I could, and then moved the ram to single channel and all my problems went away.

i'm using mushkin ddr2 in dual channel and it works fine.. this is the value kind and I didn't buy the dual channel kit, just two single 512mb sticks.

I oove my mushkin value. I have it OCed to 216 MHz in dual channel (5:6 diver) @ 2.5-3-3. It is perfectly stable in memtest and windows. I would just get corsair or mushkin, whichever is cheaper. CPU-z says 3-4-4 for the RAM at 200 MHz, but this is just bs. It runs fine at 2.5...

corsair value case 2.5 is good the only other value ram i would get would be ocz if u have enough voltage it can be oced nicely.
