well, the title says it all. I will be getting 2 q6600's soon, and one will go in a P5B or an S3, and the other, I want a great new mobo for. It has all sorts of cooling for the power, north and southbridge, and they all connected with heatpipes. Looks good anyway. (that is if I can ever sell my dual opteron board and cpus)

I've been doing some Q6600 research, and it looks like the best inexpensive p35 mobo is the ds3r. I heard that msi just came out with a new bios, however, so you might check that out and see if it fixes some of their earlier problems.

How about the P5K ? Its the only other one in the price range that has decent cooling on everything. The DS3R doesn;t have any cooling on the power stuff.

The msi board definitely has better mobo cooling. I've just been burned too many times by them to get excited about them, so I've started researching and the gigabyte boards across all price ranges look exceptionally strong right now. Asus definitely has a good product as well, however, you probably won't go wrong going with them.
