How is it that you get Add/Remove Programs to...

I used to know how to do this but I can't remember. I hate messenger with the passion of 1000 suns and I want it gone. Please tell me I can get rid of it this way.

start->run

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

That will kill it forever. I hate messenger as well.

Run msconfig, find messenger in services, uncheck.
