How is it that an RPG like Majora's Mask can fit in a 32MB ROM?

Extremely good compression? If they ported it to PC, it's probably be on 2 CDs at least.
 
Well, the textures are pretty low quality, so I'd guess they just compress the hell out of it. Are you sure it's only a 32 Megabyte rom?

Only if they re-did all the art / models etc. in higher resolution and quality. A PC is not inherently any more or less efficient for storing game data.

The classic Wasteland RPG (Apple, C=64, PC) used less than 720 K of disk space. 44 copies would fit on that ROM.

The original D&D "gold box" RPGs for PCs required under 2 MB each.
 
majora's mask is out for the gamecube? wow i gotta get that

i have every single zelda game, old and new besides majora's mask
