is there a shortage of black peers?
Maybe they just didn't show up. Not uncommon for people to skip their summons. I'd be curious what the make up of the whole pool was. That should be what's looked at. Doubt we'll ever hear.If it's a community with a high black population and there's hardly any black jurors, obviously something is up.
I don't get it....peers, seeders....It's probably because they're mostly seeders.

Like the old silicon breast implants lawsuit. Fake science bankrupted that company.I agree with the judge. It really should be a Jury of his peers. If the guy is a doctor and its medical malpractice, then it should be judged by doctors, not some stupid hicks.
Even if he was judged by millionaires, that would be better than having stupid hicks do it. Hicks should judge hicks.Like the old silicon breast implants lawsuit. Fake science bankrupted that company.
So where do you stop? Bill Gates should be judged by other billionaires if he get's accused of a crime?

The fuck is a "hick" exactly? Most "hicks" aren't going to be in large populated cities, so you need not worry. Also, what makes a "hicks" opinion not worthy of hearing, but a random moron that listens to hip-hop and smokes weed 24/7 entitled to one?

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, class-action lawsuits[8] claimed that Dow Corning's silicone breast implants caused systemic health problems. The claims first centered around breast cancer and then migrated to a range of autoimmune diseases, including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and various neurological problems. This led to numerous lawsuits beginning in 1984 and culminating in a 1998 multibillion-dollar class action settlement.[9] As a result, Dow Corning was in bankruptcy protection for nine years, ending in June 2004[10] during which time it largely withdrew from clinical markets.[11]
A number of large, independent reviews of the scientific literature, including the Institute of Medicine in the United States, have subsequently found that silicone breast implants do not cause breast cancers or any identifiable systemic disease.[12][13]
A "jury of your peers" doesn't guarantee that you will be judged by people of the same race, ethnicity, or social group as you...but that it IS a desired outcome. When members of your "class" don't show up for jury duty...what should the courts do...put the trial on hold while they send deputies out to round up folks who meet the criteria?
Nope...they work with what they have to choose from.
