How is flying First-class different from Coach?

yes, yes, yes, and yes and on some airlines(like air canada) for trans continental flights, you also get a little tv in your arm rest in business class, with many movies/tv programs, sometimes a sega and stuff like that. plus the food is better

I know that they get real Sony headphones instead of those cheap pieces of crap that go in your ear and make them sore. At least on Delta anyway. I'm sure they also get more leg room, better service, free alcoholic beverages, etc.

better food, bigger chairs, more space between chairs, so if someone next to the window want to go pee-pee they dont have to rubb thier butt in your face if you dont get up and move yourself, also some of them have TV set, better programming, free alcohol, they check on you more, give you those hot towls to clean your hands and face after a meal, etc etc......

Not really....a buddy and I flew to Boston last year and he scored with the flight attendant. When I flew to Europe I went first class and ended up having a night on the town(no sex but probably could have) in London with one of the attendants.

once, while flying from the US to visit my faimly in Asia, they ran out of seats in business and coach because they overbooked. so, they gave us a free upgrade to first!! you won't believe it! 5 course meal - complete with salmon, privomeovra pasta, etc. etc... the seat's very comfortable and tilits almost all the way back...

Let me add that back in college I dated a girl who's older sister was a flight attendant for American Airlines and she slept around more than Madonna on Spanish Fly.

You will find that very few people in 1st Class actually pay for it. I do about 100K miles/year on American and haven't flown coach in years. I try not to fly on Monday or Friday which is when there are many business flyers cause I don't want to get bumped by one of them with more miles than me. For every 10K miles I fly, I get 4 free upgrades. When I run out of those, I can purchase them for $25 a pop.

Worth the money, definitely not but if you travel a lot, it is quite nice not to have to wait in line to check your luggage, have a drink before the rest of the plan boards, get off the plane first, etc.
