Ok...I've only seen 3 Green Bay games this year. But Favre has been terrible in all of them! How is he the NFC's starter in the pro bowl? Was he amazing in the others?

Out side of the interceptions today, his completions should have been double what they were. His receivers just sucked. MANY dropped passes tonight that should have been caught.

A QB is only as good as the guys catching his passes.

Ummm you only saw three games. I saw most of their games and he played REALLY well for the most part. It wasn't all on his shoulders tonight.

That's why i asked...I'm not saying this game was all his fault, he just didn't seem like the best QB in the NFC.

I hope not. He's had a great career and I don't think this as an ending does him justice.

YOu're kidding me, right? His receiving corp are decimated, almost all new, dropping balls like crazy, he's a future Hall Of Famer, and has a few great years left.

Yes! Retired with no superbowl ring, as in LOSER!

You don't know too much about football do you?

Look at his crew.

True, look at what Gannon has been able to do :)

no one cares about the Pro Bowl anyway...he is a great QB, one of the all-time greats...if you only saw three games, why not check the stats, or the Pack's record?

Favre is in the pro bowl due to past performance... no one told Joe Montana or Dan Marino that they couldn't be in the pro bowl because they sucked, just liek those two, Favre can peel the paint off a helmet with the wind of the ball passing by. Who do you think is more suitable for the position of starter in the NFC?

Warner = broken
Culpepper = sucks
Vick = elected but not starting
Garcia = elected but not starting
Collins = NYG haven't done enough to help this guy
McNabb = Broken, even if he wasn't he hasn't been very impressive since his latest contract deal...

That's really the NFC's decent QB's and that's exadgerating...

Farve could probably go a few more years, if Greenbay had decent receivers. He hasnt had the injuries other QBs that were his age have had(Aikmen and Young). Hes still a great QB. You saw 3 games, Green Bay clinched a playoff spot in week 12. That should tell you something.

Favre can still play. If i wanted a guy to pull through for my team, Favre would be in my top 6.

Think Favre was quoted somewhere about retirement after winning another superbowl.

I'd really like to see what Green Bay could do with dominant recievers. Maybe Driver will build on this season and do better next year if he stays healthy.
Basically Favre makes his recievers look good, but does anybody notice how many balls these guys drop?
And they aren't just his fastballs they drop...

I don't think their passing game has been the same since Chumura left. I also Bubba Franks is a way overrated tight end if you ask me.

And I really can't stand it when people blame a loss on Brett Favre. Sure he hasn't been perfect, but the special teams, poor running game, and questionable play calling blew it for them today. I think it's impressive they had as good of a record as they did with the amount of injuries they had.

I'm a Brett Favre fan, but sometimes I do think he's a bit overrated. At least this season, he didn't put up MVP numbers but he nearly edged Gannon for the award.

Anyway, I totally agree with you though. Sterling Sharpe is IMO the only marquee receiver Favre has thrown the ball to, and that is ancient history. He's had a few good receivers since then, but noone special.
