I was hoping to communicate on the level of this forum.

My point is, if you're paying for escort+sex, why would you let yourself get ripped off? That's like shelling out tons of money for a Ferrari, and then just leaving it parked on your front lawn as a sculpture and never driving it.

My impression was that escorts typically tend to be more educated, higher class, better looking prostitutes.

I mean, who would you rather bring to an event at the MET, a $20 trailer-park hooker or a $1000 gussied-up, gorgeous escort?

Meh. You're the one who asked why people would prefer an escort over a cheap hooker, and I'm just trying to provide some type of reasoning.
 
Yea I don't really understand why sex for money is illegal in most states anyways.. If it wasn't so 'under the table' and all that crap, it wouldn't be so bad. So you go to a night club, enter a room, screw the girl how you like, exit and pay up, don't see the big deal..

Escorts tend to be prostitutes for richer people. And you must understand that all the things in life which are good must be exclusive for the richer few, rather than being available to the masses.
