How is escorting legal but prostitution is not?

I understand when you take the person to dinner/whatever is perfectly legal, and seems legit. Apparently sex isnt given at the end of this transaction. But what sense does it make when it comes to the escorting where the person makes an appointment to go to the chicks pad and get his business done after paying. Its like organized prostitution, a matter a fact why dont all prostitutes just become escorts, aint it safer?

What I don't get is how pornstars can be paid (legally) to have sex onscreen.

That's easy, 1st amendment protections.

Nik's deep emotional resentment of prostitutes is far more difficult to tackle. Although I would bet that it traces back to not enough hugs as a child.

Because there's no real reason for banning prostitution, other than a fascist big brother mentality that especially applies to sex in this country. As long as you're not sleeping together for money, the "moral" majority doesn't care what you do with yourself.

And your homosexuality probably stems from too many hugs as a child... from your father?

I would agree with you if they weren't paid.

EDIT: Let me put it this way: Say I paid a hooker to have sex with my friend. If I video tape it and said I was making an adult film, is it legal?

Also in porn. The actors have to sign some documents, and you probably need to be recognized by the gov.

Drug dealers. Hitmen. Bank robbers.

Care to re-word that, Mr. Smarty Pants? :p

Yes, this has been to trial before, it is protected. You have to work out that you're going to videotape it in the offer though.

Pfft, I saw my dad maybe once a week when I was a kid. I could count a lifetime of hugs from him on one hand.

My homosexuality stems from my choice to sleep with men sometimes.
