For what it's worth, to the guy's credit, it does appear that he realizes that what he did was wrong... It's a damned good thing nobody was harmed.

Getting plastered and smoking pot is not a good idea when you have a baby to take care of (duh).

While its great that he didn't do it, why didn't he turn the oven on? I have to assume he thought he was sticking a ham in the oven or something. And I've seen some pretty drunk people before, but I don't remember any of them thinking a baby was a pot roast or anything like that.
