how is ASUS with RMAs?

i have a dead a8n-e motherboard that i bought from ebay new. Problem is i dont have a reciept from a reseller, and their site says to contact the reseller. is there anyway i can rma it? i mean its obviously in the warranty period as it hasnt even been out for a year. anyone done this before?

ASUS will only accept your RMA depending on how it died.

in all honesty, i have had horrible experiance with asus support. it took them over 10 days just to issue an RMA number just to reject it

well i swapped the ram out on it, and then it never booted again.
