Does anyone use their service? If so, how is the quality? The receiver they provide your (if they do), does it take 5 seconds to change channels like it does with their digital cable receiver?

I know some people in florida who have it...i'll ask them next time i talk to them, don't know personally though

i never used adelphia in my life nor do I know anyone that ever used it but because no one gave you an answer yet i am going to give you on, imho adelphia sucks, the head of the company either will be or already have been tried for commiting fraud, so stay away from the company, but remmber i know something about the quality of hdtv that his company offers

There cable service isn't bad. I don't know where you live, but last time I checked, what cable company you have isn't a choice.

All we have here is Adelphia. I have their normal non-digtal cable service. I want to know if when using their HDTV service, if changing channels takes a few seconds like it does with Digital cable?

well it also is going to depend on your area. i had comcast in MS and it took forever for the channel to change. Now in VA, my HD channels switch like regular cable 🙂 (still with comcast)

Strange... I guess I'll call the local office to see if they know.

How much more does HD cost over regular cable? Is the quality true HD?
