How important is quality of the cables between my sound card and subwoofer/amp

I have an onbaord sound that connects using a regular jake (no RCA), I was curious if the cables should matter or not as far as sound quality ?
There is a cable that connects the mobo to the sobwoofer/amp then the speakers hook up to the subwoofer !
Thanks

i've always found the wires that come with the satellite/subwoofer setup work just FINE. once, i actually saw monster cable selling a "high quality" cable for this purpose, but you have to keep in mind that computer speakers are NOT very high quality, and upgraded cables are really a waste of money for computer speaker purposes. you'll be perfectly happy stickin with what u got.
