whether or not someone you're interested in dating has a college degree or is at least planning to get one?

I have some friends that won't date someone who has no desire to finish college and get a degree, and others who say it doesn't matter since school isn't for everyone.

I've heard quite a few women say that they wouldn't date a guy who didn't have at least some minimum degree, but I don't recall hearing a guy say the same.
