How important is HDCP (for games)?

I am in the market to buy an LCD but this HDCP compliance bit has me confused. I plan to connect a PS3 to this LCD I am going to buy.

My question is that will it affect the game graphics or anything. I don't plan to watch movies (using the PS3 on it).

It should have no impact on games whatsoever. It will however give you the ability to play Blue-Ray movies on the PS3 in all it's HD glory. I say go for it.

I don't think it makes any difference for games at all. It only affects HDCP encrypted movies.
