HOW IMPORTANT IS BUFFER SIZE WITH CDRWs???

finally found a scsi 24x burner with burn proof... damn like a dream or something!!

one issue though.. 2mb buffer... i know most ide 24x ones have an 8mb buffer...

exactly how important is the buffer? for scsi will it affect anyhting? should i wait for plextor to release a 24x scsi burner?

plextor will not be producing any faster scsi cdrws than the x12 one! 🙁
since the drive has burnproof then the buffer size isn't as critical though bigger is still better. 😉

apparently there's more profit with ide drives than scsi ones! 🙁

yeah i guess... i mean sure for every like 10 ide drives ya might sell 1 scsi... if that... but then again scsi is WAY overpriced (at least hds) and that might kinda make up for it...not sure

actually with cdrws plextor is right... i mean the one i found from sanyo is $199 and plextors ide ones with same specs and buffer is like over $200 and thats just dumb cuz its bound to be slower than scsi
