How important is a stand for an Ipad air case?

I am currently looking at this case: http://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Defens...=ipad+air+case

It looks good, but it doesn't have a stand... 🙁

That's one hell of a durable looking case. I just use the flip cover.

Myself I would not get a tablet without a stand, we have three and they all stand cases (or covers).

The case looks really sweet, but it doesn't have a stand.

Man... sucks.

I just put a back skin on mine to avoid scratching the aluminum and keep it flat on a table then look down at it, never felt the need for a stand.

If you need a stand to view TV shows etc on it, then you need a stand. No one can tell you how important it is because nobody knows how you use your iPad

imo it is a must to be able to prop up a tablet on an even surface.

Normally a stand wouldn't be important to me because I like fairly thin cases. However if I was getting a heavy duty behemoth like this, I think a stand would be very much expected (certainly room for it).

I've never bought a case for tablets at all, for me they not really necessary a they rarely leave the house.
