A week ago one of the mods and I decided I deserved a hard earned vacation. I enjoyed the time off and had some adventures.

First thing I did was travel around the state for work. It was one of the first times when the snow was melted and weather was nice. I set the cruise control for 77 and hardly had to brake. I saw a couple M tag cars and they were booking it. Even saw a Chevy Spark doing 80+.

After I got back lil rudeguy decided it would be nice to go DKA and chill in the hospital for a bit. I hung out with him while he relaxed and got stabbed multiple times over and over. I saw them wheel a dead body out. They put it in an unmarked van. Just a regular mini van. It was weird.

After we got done with Lil rudeguys R&R, I headed back to work. We started a new project which is fun. Here's a taste:

All in all it was a good time. Can't wait til my next vacation!

Lil guy feeling better man? Sorry he had issues.

Yea he's all good now. That's the really scary part about diabetes: he can go from fine to really sick and really sick to fine in a very short amount of time. This was the quickest I have ever seen him get sick. He went from perfectly fine at 4PM to throwing up and lethargic at 6:30PM. I figure he had some kind of bug that messed him up and set things off. The nurses were all pretty amazed too.

Thank God that we've been dealing with this long enough that we know when we are in over our heads and need help.

I hear you. My son has autism and would get ear infections all the time when he was young. He also had a high tolerance for pain. He would be fine and then he would start to rub his ear. By the time that we got down to urgent care he would be in the waiting room crying because of his ear. Yeah we looked like good parents. You learn to always watch them and look for the signs.

Sorry, threadjack. Back to you telling us about your time off.

Isnt the drone supposed to have the camera?

not that one

That was just a test version we built to learn how to fly on and not care if we crash and wreck it. Version 2.0 is on order and that will have a full setup. It will be a hexcopter with 6 15" rotors, retractable landing gear and motorized gimbal with IR and HD cameras.
