I was watching this show with my girlfriend last night, and I realized that it pretty much follows the romantic comedy drama of an average Freddie Prinze Jr movie to an extent.

I'm not really one to watch sitcoms, but are there any other shows that would truly qualify as a romantic comedy sitcom, versus a normal comedy sitcom?

BTW, this show is great, especially Doogie Howser (or whatever his real name is - but I'm going with Doogie Howser).

PS: Don't revoke my Dude Card for posting about this show 😉.
 
The first few episodes were ok. last night's was really good, even though it followed a romantic comedy drama movie pattern.
 
This is one of the view shows I watch. Neil Patrick Harris is awesome. Best episode yet was the Halloween episode.
 
I absolutely love this show. It has become one of my favorite shows, but then again most of the CBS line up has been great lately.
 
Doogie is better than I ever thought he could be. I started watching the show for Alyson Hannigan and would up actually liking it.

Whoever gave the OK to that worthless 30 minutes with Fonzie as a divorced doctor should be shot. It seems to be gone for now thank God.

I watched that show for like 2 minutes and it sucked!
 
Any thoughts on the original question of if there have been any other real romantic comedy sitcoms?

Closest thing I can think of is Committed, but that's much screwier.

You're not missing anything, it's not actually funny - (the chuck norris thing).

And we can't like it too much, or it will get cancelled. They never keep any of the good shows...

Like Commited. Great silly show IMO, but they got rid of it and now the girl from it is in some lame crime drama....
