How I made 1259900% return in online poker

I was playing 10/20 NL holdem (Poker Room) and I went in on an A K suited............ flop comes A K Q I lost to a straight though 🙁 I was left with 1 dollar but before I could sit out & get more money......... I was all in with J 3............ I got trip 3's and I made $12 (I don't know how this happened because there are only 10 spots on the table). I figured ......... what the heck I will do the same again 10 7.......... trip 7' 🙂 so I got $43. All the time this dude names "Flamingin" was trying to take me out.............. next I had J 8....... I get 2 pair & I was up to $43........... Flamingin was swearing his ass off at me. The next hand I had 3 2 unsuited and I drew a "Bike" straight to make my stash $166. Next hand A high straight 🙂 to make my pot $847. The very next hand was A 10.......... A A 10 on the flop then 10 on the river........... my pot was up $2568. I decided to cool it though............ so I site out 5 hands but "Flamingin" was still trying to get me (he was to my right and he had a huge pot ~$15000) Slowly but surely over half an hour I picked him off .......... 9 9............ got the house on him with 9's over 4's to make my pot $ 4407. I sat out another 4 hands waiting for something good. Unfortuneatly 2 other guys took him out with an all in and he lost ~$12000. I finally went in on a A high staight again (I had Q 10 and A K J popped out. I broke two guys and my poker stash was $12599. I decided to quit and call it a day.

Too bad it was not real money thought 🙂

Online poker is good for learning the rules and reading the community cards (in real poker sometimes I get tunnel vision and miss the straight or flush draws, so I really get to analyse things). It's hell on my real game though because the play is so different........ especially with play money......... no one gives a rats ass so they go in with junk.

All you're learning from playing with 'fake money' is bad form, and what hands beat what (which should take you all of 5 minutes to learn). Real games vs Fake games are two completely different animals, similar to how limit and no-limit are worlds apart.
 
my friends and i play real $ games, but with real low amounts. for instance, 5 or 10 bucks gives you 20 chips, and yer off and running. so the pot is anywhere from $40 to $80, something like that. the only thing that sucks is, when we get down to the last 2 players, it takes forever if you are just watching, whereas if you are still playing, the people watching can get annoying. ie. "Go all in you wuss!" etc etc. Great fun though.

Damn you aquaweasel. I was pretty stoked till you took the wind out of my sails. I have a card game tonite and I'm damn near sportin wood over it. I've been poundin the tables at pokerroom.com all week.
You oughta try dd tournament poker. It's a nice Texas Holdem PC game that really keeps you tuned. It moves along super fast and you can set it up to go so fast that it's always your turn.
