How I have stopped (for now) the infinite loop....

I realize that this topic could go under any of the specialized hardware topics...but I thought since it is a MAJOR issue i wanted more people to see this. First of all, I have a VIA KT133 P3V4X, PIII 733, GF3, and 21.83 Nvidias and WinXP Pro. I had heard about the infinite loop problem, and I said, "I hope that doesnt happen to me.." Well, it happened ONCE, so i went and got the AGP driver for VIA mobos (i DONT have any 4-in 1's) And it never happened again...UNTIL, I ran bootvis and EVERY time the system restarted and bootvis tried to load, the nv4.disp would screw up. So i booted into safe mode and deleted bootvis, and low and behold, i booted up with NO infinite loop. Now I realize that i didnt find the cure for this problem b/c a lot of people seem to have the error when playing games or whatnot...BUT, maybe this problem has somehting to do with waht bootvis does to the initializing of device drivers @ startup......Hope this helps some of you.
