Im getting my sister a Shuttle XPS system, with an 2400+ XP-M (It took FOREVER for me to explain that just because it was a mobile CPU that it would not make the system run slower/or magicly not work...) With the Shuttle HS and Artic Silver 3, (Also has a Radeon 9600) What temps should I expect to see coming out of it? (It is a NForce 2 Board)
 
Tough to say. My XPC P4 2.6C - 865PE - 5600U runs quite cool. I'd expect yours to run cooler at stock. The XPC has a pretty efficient cooling system.
 
if you set the bios to 11 x 200 at 1.45 vcore that cpu should stay at about 40 -44 c idle
i found a great little prog that tells you what amount of thermal power you can expect from any cpu its called cpuheat
