How hot is your laptop?

My laptop gets so hot it is uncomfortable to use it on my lap... Does anyone use a cooler/cooling pad?

Any recommendations?

They are design to run this way. Heat may seem high to intolerance for human skin however solid state electronics still happy or will shut down without notice!

Be careful! Hot surface can cause painful blister to groin as experience by doctor in past!

Keep hot dog factory in galley not in pants!

🙂

WTF

yeah, mine is getting hotter than before.

when I first got it and I can comfortably use it on my lap (which I usually don't, however)

now it is getting worse, especially on the base area of the monitor, it gets really warm.

English motherfvcker?

Is it really that hard to understand? 😕

He's saying it caused a painful blister to a doctor's groin and reccomends keeping the hot dog factory (heating up groin) in the kitchen of a ship/airliner/etc. and not in your pants.

I don't have a laptop. It gets so hot, if I wer to put in on my lap, I wouldn't have a lap anymore. It actually overheated enough that it turned itself off once. It's off to be RMA'd, hopefully the heatsink had bad contact with the CPU, or something that can be corrected.

Oh right, yeah, how silly of me.

Don't put it on your lap? Mine is the same way. It gets freaking hot, not so hot that it would burn you, but uncomfortable hot. I just sit at the table in my kitchen or at the island in my kitchen with my laptop.

What brand/model laptop do you have?

Acer Athlon 64 3200.

Was I asking you?

 😛

Did I ask for your input?

Know what? I've had it with you! I don't need any of your hot deals! :|

Ok, wait, saving money is nice! 😛
