No, it doesn't. You didn't say which CPU you mean for example.

If you're talking about Socket A CPUs, most people draw the line at something like 50° to 60°C.
I think the CPUs are supposed to work at up to 90°C, however the temperature readings are (said to be-) considerably lower than the actual core temp, so if MBM says 60° the CPU might actually be at 80°C.
