How hot is Northbridge supposed to be?

Just got my P4T533-C up and running with PC1066 RDRAM and a 1.8A apparently stable at 2.4GHz (133FSB). My concern is that despite running within design spec, the Northbridge seems as hot as the CPU but has no active cooling. Is it supposed to be this hot? Is the motherboard temperature reported in BIOS the temperature of the Northbridge? I replaced the thermal pad and grease with some Arctic Silver 3, so I hope I didn;t screw anything up . . .
