I am right outside of DC so I will take your word for it since I am still inside my nice air conditioned building. This is not unusual weather for this area in the summer, DC has always been infamous for it's heat and humidity. The first time I ever visited the west coast I boarded a plane here on a day much like today and when I arrived in San Diego around 9PM I was shocked when I went outside and it was in the 50's.

I'm in Fairfax and it blows. I swear I'm in the fiery pits of Hades. And this summer is worse than usual for DC.

Nah you just got spoiled by those 2 mild summers we had the last couple years. ;) It will be interesting to see how it stacks up in the record books when it is all over and done. Lucky me I get to go get in my unairconditioned car in 5 minutes and swelter my way home from Tyson's Corner on 66. :|

It's 89 here right now, but it only feels like 91. Gonna be nice and roasty tonight at the ballgame unless the rain arrives early to give the Buccos their 25th rain delay in 61 home dates.

I can also attest to the oppressiveness of NOVA heat in the summer. I can remember days when it felt like you needed a machette to cut through the air with all the humidity.
