I just touched my crucial memory to see what was what, and it's hot enough to burn your hand, not a serious burn, but certainly enough to make you take your hand away quickly.... is that normal for this type of ram or? (LoL nice to know the heat sinks are exchanging heat from the ram modules I guess lol..)

I run the same RAM and they and they are known for getting hot! But I haven't had any issues so far. Are you overclocking?

I touched PC100 RAM when it was booting and it too got very hot very quickly. I suspect this is normal and I suggest you ignore it unless it is actually causing a problem like blue screens or a failed P.O.S.T.

Should in the future you find out it no longer works then Crucial offers a lifetime warrenty.
