how hot can alcohol get before something happens?

The normal boiling point of ethyl alcohol is 78.5oC (i.e., a liquid at room temperature).

If by "something happening" you mean an explosion, if you have it open to the air it will likely evaporate before anything crazy happens. In a sealed container, I'm not sure. Eventually the pressure would build up enough to break the container but I imagine it would have to get pretty hot.

Alcohol will only boil when it gets how. It becomes combustible when vaporized.

Actually, if you want more boom for your buck, flour can be VERY explosive under the right conditions

because the thing is I have a bottle of 151 and a bottle of Absolut, and I don't have time to drop it off at home, so it would be in the car under a blanket or something while I am at work and it is 78f and the car gets very warm. The car would be ther for a couple of hours, and there is no tint on the windows so it would get pretty hot in the car

it will be fine.

Put it in the trunk. It's hotter in the interior because of the sun / glass factor.
