how high will the northwood P4's go up too

<< Jes wondering if i buy a P4T-E, and get a 1.8 now, how will the P4s last on the mobo >>

about 300mhz easy, possibly more.

A 2.2 can hit 2.6 with good cooling so 300mhz is safe

i thought the nw was supposed to scale well beyond 3 ghz ? on the .13

i mean they were able to reach 1.0 Ghz on P3 .18 micron and 2.0 Ghz on .18 micron williamette so I would think it would scale to at least 3 to 3.5 Ghz?

maybe im crazy though

remember the old slot A athlon classics went from 500 mhz to 1.0 Ghz and 1Ghz on a .25 micron process is pretty impressive

Are you asking how high they will scale? The northwoods are hitting 3.5ghz water cooled, but no one knows if it will end up going that high. 3ghz - 3.5ghz is definatly a given. And according to intels roadmap 2.8ghz is likely before year end.
