Suppose you were to make an elevated garden and you didn't want a rabbit fence. Yet your yard is covered by rabbits. How high would you put that garden? That is, how high will a typical yard rabbit jump for potential food?

will the slope be vertical? or less?

even a steep slope would be scaleable by a hungry rabbit, i think it would have to be high enough and vertical enough that it is not practicle

I'd get several of the hare's oldest and most competent adversary: the tortoise.

Vertical sides.

And sadly, the turtle ate the python after it was done with these cats. Now, it is too full to help with the rabbits. Thus, I'm back to square one.

Cottontails and brush rabbits will not jump a 2-foot fence. Jackrabbits ordinarily will also not jump a 2-foot fence unless chased by dogs or otherwise frightened. Discourage jumping by increasing the above ground height to 3 feet. In snow areas, a higher fence may be required. Remember, once a rabbit gets into the fenced area, it may not be able to get out.
Google IS your friend.

I find your lack of Googling skills disturbing.

It says 1 meter Here

But I'm sure it differs with different types of rabbit. A Jack rabbit for instance can clear a 6 foot fence, but your average cotton tail or domestic bunny rabbit 3-4 feet should be safe.
