I have a P3 700 that`s need 2,2V to get stabel on 933Mhz.The max temp is 45C.
What do you think?
Will it get fryed?Or can i get it to last with this setting.

I have two running at 1.85 and 1.95 in a dual setup. They both have stock heatsinks/fans and I am going to upgrade to Global Win FOP-32's in a a few days.

2.2 is definitely VERY VERY high though. DAMN. 45 isn't incredibly hot, as long as you have a good cooler on there, I would stay with 2.2. Call me crazy if you'd like.

1970, If your intentions are to replace that processor shortly, then I would say go right ahead and run it @2.2;)

I agree, I'm surprised it's still running... What mobo allows you to even run it that high? I don't think my CUSL2 allows higher than 1.95, which I think is Intel's maximum spec... It may run at higher but it won't for long...

The way I see it, you can slow it down, lower the voltage and make it last, or you can have a cpu burn out and throw away all your money. Even the most aggressive of overclockers will tell you that is Nutz to run at 2.2v! :Q

Run a P3-550E @ 770 on a CUSL2 board, currently at 1.85v. I take it I shouldnt have any problems if I increase the voltage to 1.9v (1.95v?) to see whether I can eke out some more performance out of this CPU?
