Hi AVAFREAK182, I have the DDR2 800 Dominator sticks with stock timings of 4-4-4-12 2T. I found that the CAS4 settings are not usable for anything over DDR2 800. I have mine running at DDR2 933 with 5-5-5-18 2T timings. With the CAS5 settings, I found they will work to about DDR2 1050 or so. DDR2 1100 or above is a no go, however, I did not try looser timings. I got slightly better framerates on 3DMark 03 with the 5 timings at 933 than the 4 timings at DDR2 740 (same CPU speed, just different memory divider).

It depends on which XMS sticks you have and which revision. (look for a version number on the sticker on the side of your sticks.

DDR RAM LIST. Look here and find your sticks and revision and see what chips they have in them. If they have Micron D9's, your set. You can push them pretty far. If they have anything else, it's pretty hit or miss. I can push my 4-4-4-12 (EPP Timings. Stock JDEP Timings are 5-5-5-18) DDR2-800 XMS2 Dominators to 5-5-5-18 DDR2-1000 @ 2.3v and DDR2-900 @ 2.2v (stock 4-4-4 timings @ 2.1v). Some people can't push them past stock speeds.

Good 1.8V DDR2 800 RAMs should be able to hit +450MHz with 2.1V/4-4-4-12-2T, and +550MHz with 2.1V/5-5-5-18-2T. Even with good RAMs, the MB/BIOS may also limit the maximum RAM speed. The sweet spot is around 430 to 490MHz with 4-4-4-12-2T or lower timing.

I have a pair, not sure which version. I can't seem to get over 880 (440) at 1.8 and stock timings or 2.1V and 4-4-4-12-2T.
