I got one I was building recently up to 3.6GHz, but with a different cooler. The Zalman it probably the same quality as the SLK900U I used. The nice thing you do not have to worry about is burning up the processor. If you saw that movie at tomshardware, you know what I am talking about. Definitely start around 3.3, and go from there. Nice choice on RAM, I am using that in a new puter I made from mostly spare parts.

I have the same stuff, on an IC7-G... Running the ram at 2-2-2-5 @ 224mhz 2.8v , I can get up near 3.4ghz, with Street Racer GAT settings. Anything past 224mhz results in random restarts, and memory errors in memtest. Maybe if I relaxed the timings\GAT I could go higher?

Nevertheless, I don't do anything that requires even 1ghz of computing power, so getting 3.6ghz is just pointless endangering of my precious rig.

The chance of getting a proc that will do 3750 on air is 1/"RossMAN's Post count" probably.

The average 3.0C overclock (at Overclockers.com) is 3557.

One guy in the Overclockers database reports a 3800 overclock for a 2.4C on air!!! How's that for long odds? :)
