why are you risking destroying the product by overclocking it? The performance gains are marginal at best...it's not like you are OC'ing a processor and going from 2.4ghz to 3ghz....

i've NEVER destroyed a video card from software overclocking...in fact...not even volt modding, altho volt modding sure gave me some close calls.
i dont need all the power my computer packs...i do it for fun.
if i were to buy a sports car that alread had 300hp, slapping a turbo on to give me an extra 100hp would be purely for fun and because i could. does any of us NEED 300hp? or 400? does the mercedes sl55 that execs drive need nearly 500hp?
the list goes on and on...i think you've been a member here long enough to realize that practically everyone here overclocks something or other
