While the KR7A-RAID does not officially support processors higher than an Athlon XP 2100+ according to Paul's Unnofficial Abit KR7A-RAID FAQ you can get it to work with faster processors by cutting the level 1 bridges on the processor. This should allow you to use up to a 2400+ (133MHz FSB). I am not certain whether the newer 166MHz FSB processors such as the Athlon XP 2700+ will work in this board.
from my personal experience, the highest multiplier that I can set is 12.5x .
Therefore, 12.5x133 is the official limitation (equivalent to XP2000+).
However, if you are willing to overclock, I can crank up the FSB to 160MHz
before PCI bus starts going crazy. Therefore, the result speed is 12.5x166 = 2GHz
which is around XP 2400+
If you run an XP-2100, the acx bios will reconize it. The board unofficially supports higher multipliers, but only if they are fixed. This means that you have to alter the CPU L3 bridge to select a multiplier.
