I have heard that the XMS 3500 and XMS3700 are just the XMS3200ll model with looser timings. Not sure if this is true though. IF it is, this should tell you how far they could be pushed.

Obviously it's going to vary from RAM stick to RAM stick, but I know my friend has some Corsair XMS 3000 that hits 218 or so with loose timings, if that's any indication.

Can't vouch for Corsair but,

My Hyper X 3200 does 220 FSB stable 2/3/3/6

Yes, it's true... Corsair 3200LL is identical to 3500 and 3700. When you buy 3700 you are simply paying for a "guarantee" that the RAM will run that fast. Most 3200LL will run at 230-240 FSB on the loosest timings (same timings as the 3700 would run at), but some wont.

Dunno bout that... My PC3200c2 (not LL) does 220 Dual using Cas 2.0 3,3,6 at 2.8v.

I've tried Cas 2.5,,, at 220 and higher with timing as loose as 4,4,8 ,,, no good.

Not complaining though ... just wanted to see how far my MB would go....

Well, I lied ...heh... goes to 230 at 10,6,6 Cas 2.5 at 2.9v

(passed over 10 loops memtest86 error free)

But,

When I fire up any 3d action,,,, I blue screen,,, So I need more cooling on my NB I think

I'm concidering freezing my crystal orb off the MB (AS thermal adheasive)

lappin my NB to copper

... and getting one of the Microcool Northpole HSF units.
