Hi..I really want to play with an A64 but the NF3 boards do not have 4 ide controllers only 2 and sata...so this means having to get new hdd

I like to keep my dvdrom and dvdrw as masters on separate ide ...I also prefer to have my hdd on separate channels as well

I would love to try to get to 2.5 ghz on an A64 3000+ 939 so I need to know whether you can run at such a high fsb with sata

also I will probably need to get new ram...can you pc3200 2 x 512 at lower divider and get to a 270fsb bus with a HTT of like 3 or 4..or would that be a pipe dream

thanks guys

The NF3 motherboards come with SATA locks included so overclocking won't be an issue while using SATA hard drives. (One item to note is that on the MSI K8N NEO2 board, only two of the four SATA ports are locked. Those are ports 3 & 4. So, be sure to use those two ports if you get this board.)
