I agree... even though I don't watch neither sport

I sometimes like watching sports, but I could live without it.

Some of my friends though, are totally in to all sports (I don't understand it, but each person has something that they are interested in).

I like to play sports much more than actually watch them. If there is a foot ball game on tv or something, i will probably watch it if there is nothing else on.

there is a couple of exceptions. during the olympics i like to watch most of those atheletes compete. i think i prefer single person sports to the team sports.

i like watching sean white own all that oppose him. he is so far above the competition it is amazing :sun:

I used to love baseball, but stopped watching after the strike. I also like basketball but I have found that over the years my interest is down to ZERO. Almost everyone I know is a sports junkie and gets so worked up over it.

Well there is your problem...baseball.

I watch when it's on and I have nothing else to do/watch. Otherwise, I do not in anyway plan my life around any sort of sport I'm not actively participating in.

I find sports a great anology for life. A bunch of people running around creating chaos, while everyone sits around getting drunk watching it.

I enjoy watching Real Salt Lake Futbol, University of Utah football and Utah Jazz basketball.

I'll sit through a Mets game or an Indianapolis Colts game every now and then.

I can't stand tennis, golf, or Nascar.

I pretty much stick to college football. I got addicted to it in college, since I got to go to the bowl games for free. Now its more a habit. Other sports, primarily only when I'm at the game. I watch for the thrill of it, the challenges, and kicking a rivals arse!

If I'm traveling overseas, I watch whatever local sports are on (soccer/cricket/Australian Rules Football).

Me. i hate watching sports, whether its on tv or live.
i don't really care for playing them that much but i'd rather do that than watch them.

the only way i'd change my mind if it was naked hot chick football or something similar.

i am really into sports...football, soccer, basketball, cricket, tennis etc etc...some sports I dont particularly care about are baseball and nascar and hockey to some extent. Sports is pretty much the only thing I watch on TV...its IS reality TV, none of that scripted crap. And it encompasses every type of entertainment/emotion: Drama - steroid scandal, suspense - all games, tragedy - yankees collapse againt boston, comedy - Isiah Thomas, happiness and sadness - when your team wins or loses, pride - your college team or national team winning, misery - NY knicks. As you can see, there are plenty of reasons to watch and follow sports. I think its an integral part of life and I feel sorry for people who dont understand. 🙂

I'm pretty much with you OP.. I loved baseball as a kid but since the first strike I just stopped caring. I used to get pumped about NCAA basketball as a kid too but now I don't care, especially since I'm not even in college anymore.

Pretty much 0 interest.

The only sports I'm interested in are Baseball and Football.

For baseball, I'll catch a Mets or Yankees game when I'm in the mood. I don't follow the sport closely, but I do enjoy watching a game when I catch one.

For football, I'll watch the Giants, Raiders, and Colts play, since I've always liked those teams. I don't like how football is covered year-round by ESPN though, since the football season is only 17 weeks (plus the post-season).

Edit: I don't care for college sports.

Choosing between those two is like choosing between watching paint dry and watching grass grow.

if by comparing soccer to watching grass grow, you mean watching electrified, man eating grass with tentacles battling a whole squadron of 17th century samurais with light sabers, then yes.

Soccer = :thumbsup:

Not into anything, never have been. Not playing, not watching, not following, nothing. I have played most at some point, but never really liked them.
