How heat pipe works

🙂 I'd be afraid too. Next thing you know, you've got four arms and compound eyes because of some exotic chemical in it.

I wish I could justify buying one. The all-copper units look and work very well.
 
Thermalright SP-97 has heat pipes..
looks like some part of a car rather then inside a computer system unit.
